Whether you love them or hate them, chances are you've noticed these shoes flying around the Blogosphere as of late. Personally, we can't get enough of the clunky clogs here at CofD HQ, and if it wasn't for the hefty price tag we'd all be sporting them by now. Zara, can you hear us?

Double shout out to my good friend Jake for being good with a camera and making me look like I've had more than three hours sleep. Which I haven't. Before I forget to mention/spam you all: I'm in the running to win a trip to Berlin Fashion Week with Stylight (just a few days to go). To help me get there, I'd be forever thankful if you could all spare two seconds to 'heart' some of my recent looks on their site tagged 'winter'. You can find all my looks here and you can sign up to Stylight by clicking here. If i win, expect love letters. There's a hurricane warning out for the North of Germany and I'm having my Dorothy moment today in this blush, tartan and white leather combo. Paint splash snake pumps add that extra factor of surprise to an outfit that would otherwise be too trendy for my liking. I can't stand it when a certain outfit can immediately be pigeonholed and "ticks" all those boxes that make it en vogue and in my book pretty damn boring. It's quite a feat when certain items become the token piece of a trend but you still manage to give them that refreshing twist of originality. Let's hope I managed to do that and broke away from those damn subliminal chains that trends put us all in. Having escaped a glossy lacks personal touch and what's the point in getting dressed if you don't incorporate some you? Know what I mean? I am wearing thesupertrendyandit'sfuckingeverywhere Ganni coat, a pair of leather trousers by Isabel Marant pour H&M thattookoveryourfacebooknewsfeedforthelastmonth, an Acne jumper thatissosoftandcufddlythatitcouldreplaceHamish and a pair of nuff'said Christian Louboutin pumps, ear cuffs by Maria Francesca Pepe and rings by ellisue.

Coco Chanel is our favourite source of inspiration. Not only does she inspire our fashion heart, Coco also encourages us to be determined and ambitious, something we all need from time to time.
photo credit | personal AS PART of this weeks Christmas Countdown (which is basically a post where I share my love for all things festive and gift-worthy) I've decided to feature this trio of candles from Neom - one of my all time favourite aromatherapy brands. Featuring three smaller-sized scents (Christmas Wish, Comforting and Harmonise - which literally smells like the piniest of pine trees), these candles are bound to make the perfect present for avid-scent-sniffers and interior lovers alike. Because let's face it, who actually burns candles when they look this pretty? shown SCENTS OF CHRISTMAS SET | Neom (here) shop candles Follow me on: Bloglovin | Facebook | Tumblr | Twitter | Instagram | Pinterest | Lookbook | Stylight | Shop
These are my sweet French grandparents, Huguette and Pierre, walking on the boulevard of Nice in 1949 during their honeymoon. They had met a year earlier during a holiday in Italy, while walking the volcano Vesuvius. For me, they have always been the epitome of style, not only in the way they dressed but mainly because of the way they lived their lifes: always full of love and joy for their children and grandchildren.
TYPICAL everyday kinda look I could simply wear everyday. Cosy sweater, check, destroyed shorts, check, oversized blazer, check! Topped it off with a pair of cut out boots and a beanie and I'm ready to go! What is your go to look? I'm wearing: Isabel Marant pour H&M Blazer // Ganni Sweater // Zara Shorts and Bag // Sacha Boots FOLLOW BILLIE ROSE ON: BLOGLOVIN // FACEBOOK // TWITTER // INSTAGRAM
Midi skirts are hot this season. With the festive season well on it's way there are bound to be countless nights out and celebrations that require something a little more 'dressed' than your usual onesie attire (we're not point any fingers). Thankfully, the 3/4 length skirt is back in fashion, meaning you can bare those ankles - if you dare - while staying reasonably warm at the same time. Take inspiration from one of our favourite power-bloggers Sandra from 5 inch and up, or look to the Olsen twins' latest lookbook for Bik Bok. You can find these styles all across the highstreet or online, so, what are you waiting for? by Stephanie Toms
Hope grand sweater via Nelly You probably all know this super cosy and oversized turtle neck. I wanted to buy it like a year ago in black, but something hold me back, I think because it's quite expensive for such a basic item. I couldn't get it out of my head, so this autumn I was again thinking about buying it. But.. Still not sure. Then I came across this dusty pink color and also immediately loved it. Now the super nice thing is that this one is less expensive than the black one, so it's mine now, finally!
When you say Marni, you say prints, colours and patterns. A kind of arty Italian style – comfortable but chic. Pretty much all outfits have that special, almost voluminous cut, the prints are reminiscent of the 50s and 60s and the fabrics are innovative.
We don't know about you guys, but here at CofD HQ none of us can really function without our morning coffee. How does that saying go? A coffee a day keeps the doctor away? Something like that. So, in spirit of true health, pull up a chair, grab your girl friends and spend the morning chatting over you favourite caffiene fix. Failing that, why not jsut flick through our favourite pictures here?
Earthy hues are my way of slowly accepting the fact that winter is just around the corner and I've busted out those two fall staples that accompanied me through last year's bitterly cold months: the Acne shearling jacket and the Isabel Marant boots that made a hole the size of a crater in my bank account. I always wonder where those items go that bloggers invest so much in and after a few months they disappear into the Narnia sized closets never to be seen again. Feel free to send them to me! I'll wear them for you. I'm sinfully behind my annual Glühwein consumption but I'm initiating the festive, drunken season with a swig of these berry hued babies that may hurt like a bitch but their Western inspired beauty is undeniable even in their second year running. A little sexy sock flashing never hurt nobody. I am wearing an Acne jacket, a TK Maxx jumper, Isabel Marant pour H&M leather trousers and Isabel Marant boots.

We're constantly obsessing over the new 'it' bag here at CofD HQ, but this time it's not an 'it' but more of a style of bag - the backpack. Take inspiration from the continuing grunge trend and throw your favourite style over your shoulder a la Cara Delevingne. Yes please, Santa.
THERE must be someone visiting my little internet corner at this time of hour. Especially for those I bring you today's cocktail: leather infused with some ripped jeans topped off by a blush pink turtleneck. On the rocks. Kind of casual, but hey it's still early. We're officially allowed to start getting excited about Christmas! With 'just' 25 sleeps left until the big day, we can't wait to begin decking the halls and stocking up on our favourite holiday treats. What are you wishing for this festive season?
